This hand-forged T10 steel katana combines strength, elegance, and traditional Japanese sword-making craftsmanship. Forged using traditional sword-making methods, this katana is suitable for martial arts practice, collection, and display.

The blade is forged from high-carbon T10 steel, oil quenched, and hand-polished to a mirror finish. Its Shinogi-Zukuri geometry with a bo-hi groove provides a balanced handling feel and reduced blade weight, making it suitable for Iaido, Kenjutsu, and cutting practice (Tameshigiri).

Black Snake-Themed Sword Fittings

The fittings feature a distinctive black snake motif, giving the katana a strong and recognizable appearance. The design incorporates snake details throughout the main sword fittings:

• Tsuba (Guard): Alloy, featuring a coiled black snake design.
• Kashira (Pommel): Alloy, decorated with a black snake motif.
• Fuchi (Sleeve): Alloy, engraved with black snake details.
• Menuki (Ornament): Alloy, shaped like a black snake wrapping around the handle.

The Handle and Scabbard

The Tsuka (handle) is crafted with genuine black rayskin (Samegawa) and wrapped in black synthetic silk Ito using the Hineri-Maki style. This traditional wrapping style provides a secure grip while complementing the black fittings.
