This handmade Japanese Katana sword is forged from premium T10 tool steel, a material highly valued for its hardness, durability, and ability to retain a razor-sharp edge. The blade features the Shinogi-Zukuri geometry with a bo-hi (groove) that helps to reduce weight and improve balance. A defined yokote (tip point line) enhances the aesthetics while maintaining traditional proportions. The blade is mirror polished, reflecting the attention to detail in craftsmanship. By default, it comes very sharp, but can be customized to an unsharpened edge for iaido or martial arts training.

The handle (tsuka) measures 27 cm (10.6 inches) and is wrapped in blue synthetic silk tsuka-ito in the traditional hineri-maki wrapping style. Underneath lies genuine black rayskin (samegawa) for both durability and grip. The fittings are decorated with an elegant eagle motif, including the tsuba (guard), kashira (pommel), fuchi (sleeve), and menuki (ornament). These alloy fittings give the sword a bold and symbolic presence.

The saya (scabbard) is finished in high-gloss black lacquer and paired with a blue synthetic silk sageo cord. The brass habaki (blade collar) and brass seppa (spacers) secure the blade firmly within the saya, ensuring functionality while maintaining a polished aesthetic.
