This Hand-Forged Black Ninjato from HanBon Forge is a masterful blend of traditional swordsmithing and modern functionality:
Premium Materials: Forged from AISI 1060 high carbon steel and oil-quenched for enhanced hardness and durability. The blade features a sleek black finish that adds both style and rust resistance.
Full Tang Construction: The blade is full tang and secured with dual bamboo mekugi pins, ensuring excellent structural strength — ideal for real training or cutting practice.
Refined Handle Details: The handle is wrapped in red samegawa (genuine rayskin) and overlaid with black synthetic silk ito, providing a firm and comfortable grip. The iron tsuba and brass fittings reflect classic samurai aesthetics.
Functional Saya: Comes with a high-gloss black wooden saya (scabbard) fitted with a hardened koiguchi and black synthetic sageo for durability and presentation. Includes a free sword bag for safe transport and storage.
