Handmade Japanese Katana Sword – 1095 Steel, Purple Tsuka-Ito, White Gloss Saya, Golden Fittings
This handmade Japanese katana is forged from 1095 high carbon steel, featuring a shinogi-zukuri blade with bo-hi, full tang construction, and a mirror-polished surface. It is tempered and oil-quenched for durability, making it a fully functional, battle-ready sword.
The handle (tsuka) is wrapped in purple synthetic silk tsuka-ito in traditional hineri-maki style over genuine white rayskin (samegawa). The fittings are crafted from golden alloy with elegant sakura (cherry blossom) and bamboo themes. The white gloss saya is paired with a matching purple sageo, completing the refined aesthetic.
This katana is perfect for martial arts practice, collection, or display. It can also be fully customized with engravings, fittings, or alternative handle colors.

2. Can I customize the fittings or handle wrap color?
Yes. We offer full customization for the blade, fittings, saya (scabbard), and tsuka-ito (handle wrap). You can see available options here: Japanese Sword Fittings.

Yes. We provide free engraving for English, Chinese, or Japanese characters. For more complex images or custom designs, there is a small fee. Learn more here: Blade Engraving Service.
5. What accessories are included with this katana?
Each katana comes with a free sword bag and a certificate of authenticity.
6. How should I care for my katana?
Keep the blade lightly oiled and dry after handling to prevent rust. Store it in the saya when not in use, and avoid touching the blade with bare hands for long periods. We recommend using our Sword Maintenance Guide for proper cleaning and preservation.
7. Is this katana suitable for beginners?
Yes. While it is a functional battle-ready sword, it is also suitable for beginners in martial arts training or collectors seeking an authentic handmade katana.
