Unparalleled Craftsmanship & Zodiacal Design

Exceptional Folded Steel Blade

• Hand-Forged Folded Steel: The heart of this Jian is its hand-forged folded steel blade. The steel is meticulously folded multiple times to remove impurities and create thousands of layers, resulting in a beautiful and authentic grain pattern (HADA) on the blade's surface. This high-carbon steel ensures a blade with superior hardness, strength, and edge retention.

• Double-Fuller (Double-Hi) Design: The blade features a double-fuller design—two parallel grooves running along its length. This not only enhances the visual aesthetic but also serves a practical purpose: reducing the blade's weight without compromising its strength, which improves balance and allows for faster, more agile movements.

• Fully Hand Polished: Each blade undergoes an extensive hand-polishing process, bringing out the intricate patterns and ensuring a gleaming, high-quality finish.

• Full Tang Construction: For superior strength, balance, and durability, the blade is constructed with a full tang, extending through the entire handle.

The Twelve Zodiac Fittings

• Intricate Brass Carvings: The sword's most unique feature is its set of hand-carved brass fittings, which are expertly detailed with all twelve animals of the Chinese Zodiac: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig.

• A Symbol of Time and Destiny: These carvings are not just decorative; they are a profound representation of the cyclical nature of time and the unique qualities each animal embodies. From the bravery of the Tiger to the wisdom of the Snake, the fittings connect the sword to a deeply rooted system of belief and character.

• Premium Sheath and Handle: The sword is securely housed in a premium ebony wood sheath, known for its rich color and beautiful grain. The sheath and the sword's handle are both adorned with the complete set of Zodiac fittings, creating a cohesive and visually stunning piece.
