Chinese Jian Sword Song Dynasty Folded Pattern Steel Blade Clay Tempered Straight Double Edge Blade Sword

This Chinese Song Jian(宋剑)is hand forged using old Chinese method to create a perfect blade. The blade was made of folded steel with clay tempered. The visible tenuous undulating grain on the blade was resulted from folded repeatedly during forging. This blade has been hand polished with multiple grade stone by Japanese method. There are no bo hi on each side of the blade. This blade comes with a full Tang which greatly enhances the strength of the sword. The handle and sheath are made of hard wood and wrap black rayskin with brass fittings decorated, and the fittings have been full hand carved with flower pattern. The quality of this sword is very great.
