This traditional Japanese Wakizashi features the rare and efficient Unokubi-Zukuri blade geometry, inspired by historical samurai weaponry. Forged from 1095 high carbon steel, the blade undergoes clay tempering to create a visible hamon line and enhance both flexibility and edge retention.
The Unokubi-Zukuri shape — characterized by a thinner spine (bohi) and thickened tip — reduces overall weight while maintaining tip strength, making it a favorite among martial artists for speed and control.
This sword is a fully functional, full tang wakizashi with excellent balance and cutting ability.
