This hand-forged T10 steel katana combines a traditional Shinogi-Zukuri blade profile with refined Japanese sword fittings and a rich dark mahogany Saya. The blade features a genuine Choji Hamon created through clay tempering and oil quenching, along with an O-Kissaki and clearly defined Yokote.

The solid blade has no Bo-Hi and receives Hazuya polishing to enhance the blade's geometry and visible Hamon. A beige synthetic silk Hineri-Maki handle, antiqued genuine rayskin, and contrasting brass and black iron fittings create a balanced traditional-inspired appearance.

T10 Steel Blade with Genuine Choji Hamon

The blade is forged from T10 steel and clay tempered before being oil quenched. The genuine Choji Hamon creates a distinctive pattern along the hardened edge, giving the blade a traditional Japanese sword aesthetic.

The Shinogi-Zukuri blade is made without a Bo-Hi, maintaining a solid blade profile. The Yokote separates the main blade from the O-Kissaki, giving the tip a distinctive and elongated appearance.

Hazuya polishing is applied to the blade, helping reveal the Hamon and emphasize the traditional geometry of the blade. The standard cutting edge is very sharp, while an unsharp configuration can be requested as a customization.

Beige Hineri-Maki Tsuka with Genuine Rayskin

The Tsuka is constructed around a hard wood core and covered with antiqued genuine rayskin. Beige synthetic silk is wrapped in the Hineri-Maki style, providing a clean and traditional-inspired appearance that coordinates with the Sageo on the Saya.

Two bamboo Mekugi are used in the handle construction. The matte black iron Fuchi and Kashira provide a dark contrast against the beige Tsuka-Ito, while a gold-color flower Menuki adds a subtle decorative detail.

Two-Tone Brass Mokkō Tsuba

The Tsuba features a Mokkō-shaped design with a dark center and a polished brass rim. The two-tone finish creates a strong contrast between the darker fittings and the warm metallic accents, giving the sword a distinctive appearance.

The brass Tsuba is complemented by brass Habaki and Seppa, creating a consistent metallic accent around the blade's mounting area.

Dark Mahogany Lacquered Saya

The Saya features a high-gloss reddish-brown and dark mahogany lacquered finish. The warm wood-tone appearance provides an elegant contrast to the beige handle and dark metal fittings.

A horn Kojiri protects the end of the Saya, while a brass Koiguchi provides a matching metallic accent at the mouth of the scabbard. The premium beige woven Sageo features a subtle geometric pattern and is tied in a decorative knot with elegant trailing ends.

Hand-Forged and Hand-Assembled Katana

This katana is produced through a traditional hand-made process that includes hand forging, hand polishing, and hand assembly. The full-tang construction, hard wood Tsuka core, genuine rayskin, bamboo Mekugi, and hand-finished fittings contribute to its handcrafted character.

The katana is supplied with no Mei inscription or engraving by default. A Mei inscription or engraving on the blade or tang can be added free of charge upon request.
