This Chinese Four Beasts Han Jian (四兽汉剑)is fully handmade of folded pattern steel which features beautiful grain pattern with visible layers. The fittings are made of sturdy brass material, rich in symbolism, and carefully decorated with "four beasts": the sky blue dragon in the east, the vermilion bird in the south, the white tiger in the west and the black sea turtle in the north. These 4 kinds of beasts also correspond to the 4 seasons and 5 elements respectively, and symbolize good luck. The sword is great for tai chi, kung fu, wushu,  practice, and display. It's durable enough for tameshigiri and bamboo.
