Customized Clay Tempered Folded Steel Japanese Sword Set With Hualee Saya

 

This is a Japanese sword set which includes Katana, Wakizashi and Tanto sword. It is for our US customer. The construction of the blade is Unokubi Zukuri. There is one big Hi (blood groove) on each side which is from Habaki to the middle of the blade, The thickness on the back becomes thinner from the half of the blade towards the tip, but the back turns to thick near the KISSAKI (tip). All of the blades were made of folded steel with clay tempered. The hamon is authentic all the way up to the tip. These blades have been hand polished with multiple grade sharpen stone by Japanese method, which made the surface of the blade like a mirror, the blades are also very sharp. These swords come with high quality square dragon tsuba(guard) and menuki. Tsuka(handle) was wrapped with red rayskin and black synthetic silk. The saya(sheath) were made of hualee wood with bull horn koiguchi and kurikata. See details below:
