This chinese Ming Gong Jian(明公剑) has been constructed from Folded steel which has been folded 13 times, creating 8192 grain layers. It is Full tang with a bamboo peg and a brass peg. The scabbard is masterfully done with the ebony wood contouring to the shape of the sword. It features handmade fittings all made of high quality brass with traditional dragon design on each side. There is brown color hanging cord tied between the first two fitting clips. The handle is natural ebony wood with a brass pommel also features carved Chinese dragon design. The sword is fully capable of being used on traditional targets. The blade is fully functional.
