Han Dynasty Jian Chinese Sword Feather Pattern Steel Eight Sides Blade

Han Dynasty Jian (汉剑). The Han jian occupies an irreplaceable position in the history of Chinese swords. It is a symbol of power and status. The body of the Han jian is straight and the blade is curved from both sides. This Han Jian sword is made of folded carbon steel, creating beautiful grain feather pattern (HADA).  The blade is eight sides edge, and single groove in the middle of the blade. The handle core is made of hard wood, with black silk cord tightly wrapped around the handle in the traditional "X" pattern. It is finished with a replica of an antique high quality brass tsuba (guard), mountings. The scabbard is made of high qulity red wood , scabbard throat has been seamlessly fitted to the guard.
