Musashi Design Tsuba Damascus Steel Oil Quenched Full Tang Blade Japanese Samurai Sword

This japanese Musashi katana has been handmade by hanbon forge. The full tang blade has been constructed from folded damascus steel which was folded 13 times to create the 8192 layers, showing  a beautiful HADA (the patter of folding the steel), and it has been hand polished multiple with grades of sharpening stones by the Japanese method. The full tang blade has a long HI on each side and a CHU-kissaki on the top. The tsuba(guard) is made from a fine finished alloy with musashi design, and it begins with a brass one piece Habaki. Two copper Seppas(spacer) secure the tsuba of the sword. The Fuchi(sleeve) and Kashira(buttcap) are also made of alloy. The Tsuka(handle) core is hard wooden with white Ray Skin Same and brown synthetic fiber tsuka-ito. Two Bamboo Mekugi secure the tang of the sword into the Tsuka, and two dragon design menuki on each side of the handle. The Saya(sheath) has been constructed from hard wood with black high gloss finished. The Sage-o is brown synthetic silk cord, wrapped over a bright copper Kurigata. This beautiful katana sword is not only a gift or display but also a good choice for Dojo students and practice.
