Customized Sword Set Kobuse Steel Clay Tempered Katana+Wakizashi

 

This is a sword set which including Katana and wakizashi.  This sword set was customized made for our Australia customer. The two blades are GYAKU-KOBUSE construction. The blades were constructed from two different kinds of steel, the core steel and the outer steel, where the core steel is wrapped with the outer steel. The core steel is harder than the outer steel. The outer steel was made of folded steel. It was folded 13 times creating 8192 layers for superior strength and flexibility. The visible tenuous undulating grain on the blade was resulted from folded repeatedly during forging. The core steel was made of 1095 steel. Two blades have been clay tempered and hazuya polished. Each blade has long HI(blood groove), and two swords were engraved dragon pattern on the blades and saya(sheath). Kobuse steel blade is very strong for cutting trees.
